Thank you for shopping with HitchParts.com. Because fitment, weight capacities, and vehicle specifications are critical to towing safety, all sales are final. Please review our strict guidelines regarding order accuracy and eligibility below.

1. Absolute Direct Exclusion of Buyer Error

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for any reasons relating to buyer oversight. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Misordered Parts: Items ordered that do not fit your specific vehicle year, make, model, or existing hitch setup.
• Accidental Orders: Items ordered by mistake, duplicated by the user, or no longer needed/wanted.
• Compatibility Discrepancies: Items ordered without utilizing professional fitment verification prior to checkout.

2. Defective Items Only 

Returns are strictly limited to items that possess verifiable manufacturing defects or structural malfunctions directly out of the box.

• Any claim for a defective item must be submitted to our support team within 48 hours of carrier delivery.
• Photographic and video documentation showing the uninstalled, pristine condition of the product and its defect is required to initiate an evaluation.

3. Strict Return Material Authorization (RMA) Hurdles

If a defect claim is provisionally approved for review, the return process is subject to the following non-negotiable criteria:

• Pre-Approval Mandatory: Any item sent back to our facilities without a written, official RMA number will be rejected at the dock, abandoned, or sent back at the sender's sole expense.
• Condition Restrictions: Items must be in their original, un-opened, un-damaged manufacturer packaging. If an item shows signs of tool marks, mounting attempts, scratches, grease, or installation, the RMA is voided instantly and no credit will be issued.
• Restocking Fees: Any approved return that does not result in an exchange for an identical item is subject to a 30% restocking and administrative fee.
• Shipping Liabilities: The buyer is 100% responsible for all return shipping fees, tracking services, and shipping insurance. HitchParts.com is not liable for return shipments lost or damaged in transit.

4. Special and Custom Orders

All custom-fabricated gear, specialized heavy-duty commercial hitches, and electrical wiring components/harnesses are explicitly **ineligible for return under any circumstances.
